10 week internship project cohorts FAQ

What is the tuition of this cohort?

After initial screening's a $1000 refundable deposit is due to RSVP your spot. You can RSVP for the next cohort if spots fill up.

Once you complete the team match interviews, the remaining $3888 tuition is due, with split payments available. Upon successful graduation and completion, top performing members are offered a $200 - $1000 grants as refunds.

Scholarships vs Grants?

Scholarships are offered at the start of a cohort while grants are offered at the end.
‍
Sign up with a friend and each earn an additional $200 scholarship. Please write each others email on the application when paying to indicate this. (We will reach out on slack to grant refunds)
‍
Full scholarships are limited and offered to one or two students per cohort. These scholarships are awarded based on merit and are publicly announced after being selected by a committee of coaches and alumni.

What type of cohort is right for me?

Start with this 10 week project cohort if you need experience. This way you gain real internship or project experiences to write on your resume and case studies to add onto your portfolio. If your resume and case study are lacking after this cohort, join the 8 week project cohort later.

Can I do this at the same time with the 8-week job hunting cohort?

Yes, if you are short on time this is recommended. Alternatively, you can do the 8 week job hunting cohort after completing the 10-week project cohort.

Why are cohorts not part of regular membership?

Cohorts offer synchronous, live teaching, while memberships are self-paced and better suited for those who already have interviews.

Will I be able to attend IRL camp after my cohorts?

Yes, cohort participants are invited to IRL camps, but separate tickets need to be purchased. (irl camp is an all inclusive co-living, co-learning experience at premium venues) Travel expenses are not included in tickets.

ps. lot's of members want to attend irl camp, joining a cohort does not guarantee your spot at irl camp.

What if I drop out the cohort?

To avoid dropouts, we offer grants as motivation for excellence. If unforeseen circumstances arise, your UXGO team manager will assist you (refer to your contract for details).
